Please submit issue in this topic with following rules:
1) Version of app where you found the issue. Version number could be found in "info" tab, "info" section.
2) Issue is reproducible? (yes - every time, no - was found once, don't know)
3) Steps used for reproduce.
4) Could you send internal app logs? It's possible do from following path: EasyWakeup->Statistics->Graphs->Edit->Action->Send Log.

EasyWakeup v2.3.3.20861 on iPod Touch 2g
Reproducible? Yes, every time.
Steps used: Set alarm and lock device
In the previous thread regarding the device not sounding the alarm when locked, the administrators stated that the issue was fixed in the 2.3.3 release. This is not the case. When locked, the device still fails to sound the alarm. However, the problem has worsened.
In the 2.3.2 release, the device would not sound the alarm when locked, rendering the entire function of the program useless. When unlocked, the alarm would sound. Now, however, the device does not sound the alarm when it is locked. Even when it is unlocked after the alarm should have sounded, no sound is made. Only the "Have a Nice Day" screen is displayed. So essentially, I set the alarm, turn up the volume, lock the device, and go to sleep. When I wake up (using my clock radio), I realize that it is past the time I set for EasyWakeUp to wake me up. The iPod has never made a sound. I unlock the device, and the "Have a Nice Day" screen is displayed, but no sound is made.
This has been a highly frustrating experience, a waste of $20 on a product key for a function that doesn't work. I could have just used the free version and received the same functionality. I sincerely hope this bug is fixed soon, or there will be a lot of unhappy customers.

Thank you for your report.
We have some important questions for you:
1). did you try press "test audio" button from preferences alarm clock?
2). do your Music application playing sounds?
I asked you cause device have two volume level (Master and for iPod applications)
3). also we want notice you that in last version 2.3.3 sound increase very slowly (for maximum need 30 secs). Did you waiting enough time?
4). can you send us log files?
If you have any troubles with iPhone system access, you can wait next version. It will allow send logs rightly from application. Test version will available tomorrow.

I have temporarily solved the problem by running Insomnia (available from Cydia) while using EasyWakeUp. Perhaps Insomnia's source code could somehow be built into EasyWakeUp, as it appears to successfully keep the iPhone from entering sleep mode. When using Insomnia, locking the iPhone results only in the screen being locked.

After further testing with the program, I have found that using Insomnia also does not work. I have tried all of the things you have asked, they are all working properly (test audio, etc). I have the app logs, but I am not sure how to send them to you. There is no "Attatch" button in this forum.

Let clarify me something.
Code similar insomnia built into EasyWakeup started from version 1.0 of application. It was some changes in this code in 2.3 version and issue with permanently sleep device start happen. This happens less than 5% cases and this happens always for case with 1 minute snooze. This issue was fixed in version 2.3.3.
To send logs to us please use email from here. Also please write your non appstore app list (could be found in Cydia-> Manage->Packages and Installer->Categories->Installed Packages).

I confirm what cs01137 says. The same bug is still present in version 2.3.3.20861.
I shall send the logs later today when I have the time.

You have password protection on? For me it doesn't work with password on... Hope it'll be fixed

doesn't work without password neither... plays melody when I unlock my ipod touch 2g... and I use newest version!

Hi, guys!
Everyone who write here has ipod 2G. It looks like something works unexpected on iPod 2G. Unfortunatelly, we tested our app on iPhone and iPod 1G only. So We need app log with problem to find root cause of bug.
And please read 1st post carefully. "I use newest version" - it's wrong description of version... We prepare new version in our test repository (to get it - please email to us). It allow to send logs directly from application.
May be need to get abbility to use 2.1 version - as temporary solution?
Anyway we could fix this issue only after getting logs from app with unexpected work.

We have made workaround fix bug which you found. It fixed in last version 2.4.
Please check and report if something wrong.
