I am currently working on the French translation. I will translate the block text, but I don't really know how to adjust the layout. I shall let other users do the adjustments when they have the time.
Could you tell me why all the formatting disappears after I translate? I translated sentence per sentence, but after I clicked Save, all the formatting was gone.
everything dissapeared cause you used imput format "Filtered HTML", but requirements to use "Edit HTML" for good imagine.
I fixed main page for good imagine pictures and format and now this page promoting on main page.
I don't understood about layouts - can you reask?
The question about layouts is the same as the question about formatting. It's answered now.
I don't know much about HTML programming, I can't translate directly into the code.
Other than that, I think I've translated all the English text into French. Let me know if I missed something.
It's no need to know HTML, this option can be select=)
After field with text exist one option "input format". Tap on this and choose "Edit HTML"
This is not so obviously how I thought... I will add this information on instructions.
One thing. Can you check that all pages have links to French pages (not to English by default)?
And the last. how will "EasyWakeup - smart alarm clock for iPhone" on French?
Thank you for your help!
Ok, I'm in the process of correcting.
The form in the Contact page (http://easywakeup.net/fr/content/contact) is still gone though. Maybe you could re-add it.
"EasyWakeup - smart alarm clock for iPhone" translates into: " "EasyWakeup - Le réveil-matin intelligent pour iPhone"
I added contact info into contact form (http://easywakeup.net/fr/contact)
Is what you mean?
About site name - could it be some shortly?=) If not, it's ok - I will fix it.
Yes, that's what I meant.
I don't think the name can be shorter, I translated word-for-word. It could be ""EasyWakeup - Réveil-matin intelligent pour iPhone" which is the same number of words as the English version.
I did the editing for this page (http://easywakeup.net/fr/content/foire-aux-questions) in MS Word, and I can't take away the tags at the beginning, can you help?
No, I can't=) It's very complicated.
For this please use function "paste from word" (icon folder and Word logo on toolbar) - it will remove all unnecessary tags. Much better if you editing (add your translation) text directly into editor on website.
I edited from the website at first, but I hit the wrong key and lost everything I had typed... So I had to use Word.
I corrected what I could on the page, but the FAQ links direct to the English page, I don't know how to solve that.
